St Hilda’s Worship Leaders
Our St Hilda’s worship leaders lead and support worship. They lead reflection on worship, supporting children in Key Stage One and EYFS during class worship. They prepare prayer spaces in the classrooms and suggest how prayer spaces can be developed. Worship leaders write prayers and share them with our wider school family through the school newsletters.
Worship leaders meet regularly with senior staff to discuss worship in school, helping to organise the running of special events

What do our worship leaders say about our Christian values?
Love
“God loves everyone.”
“Love is important because without love people would not care about each other.”
Respect
“God wants us to show respect to everyone.”
“Respect means we treat each other fairly.”
“We should respect the world. The world gets damaged if we don’t respect it.”
Hope
“It’s important to hope things will get better when things are difficult.”
“Hope helps you to think you can do things.”
Justice
“Justice gives everyone a chance.”
“Justice means you have to be fair to other people because everyone wants to be treated fairly.”
“We should help people in school and we should support other people when they need help too.”
Thankfulness
“We should be thankful to God for everything we have.”
“We should be thankful for the world and the wonderful things in it.”
“We must say thank you and think about people who are not as lucky as us.”
Friendship
“You trust your friends. You need to trust a person to keep a friendship.”
“Friends are important when we are happy and when we are sad. We look after each other all the time.”
“You have to forgive people or you never learn to be forgiven if you don’t forgive. You need to forgive your friend. Peter let Jesus down and Jesus forgave him.”
Courage
“You have to be brave to try new things. They may be hard at first but courage helps you to try.”
“Courage means being brave when you don’t want to do something important but you will still try.”
