Welcome to our school
Welcome to Carleton St Hilda’s Church of England Primary School.
Our school prides itself in providing a high quality of education for all of our children within a warm, nurturing and supportive environment based on a strong set of Christian Values and rooted in the Christian beliefs and teachings.
We welcome 30 children into Reception Class each academic year.
We are situated on Bispham Road in Carleton which is near Poulton-le-Fylde. The earliest official records show that Carleton St Hilda’s Primary School was in existence in 1680 and the Christian principles on which it was founded are still important today.
We are a happy school where children enjoy learning and playing together. We recognise that every child is unique and all staff work hard to ensure that each child reaches their full potential in all aspects of school life.
We are blessed with a wonderful, safe and stimulating environment for teaching and learning, both within school and also within the outdoor environment. We believe that learning should be fun, engaging and challenging. This, alongside high quality teaching and learning gives each and every child the opportunities and the chance they deserve.
